The Championship, who goes up and who goes down?

Last round of fixtures on Sunday.

Newcastle and Brighton are up but who will join them via the play offs? They will finish 6th but my money is on Fulham.

At the other end if Blackburn and Forest win, and Birmingham lose, Brum and “Arry” get relegated, as much as that would be my most favoured outcome I don’t think its going to happen, Blackburn for the last relegation spot IMO.

What a killer for Brighton. Still a massive achievement but missing out like that is probably worse than when we missed out last game, and I'm still gutted about that''

If you really are still gutted about that then you must have had a blessed life with very few setbacks. I actually stood to win, which was at the time, a lot of money had we won the league that season, but I got over it about 25 years ago.

Even if there are no outside debts I would guess that even if they sold anyone of value they would have enough to pay out the obligations on player and coaching contracts.
The club is probably now worth ZILCH and they have done every penny.
Certainly aren't seeing any of the £80m
Could open a chicken farm on Ewood Park maybe

Re: The Championship, who goes up and who goes down?
I read somewhere that the Venkys have some £80M pounds in loans to Blackburn. They should not have diversified from chicken breeding and added football ownership to their portfolio. They'll be unlikely to get that money back.

Some very good keepers will be on the move in the summer it seems .... De Gea, Schmeichel , Butland, Pickford, Begovic

Stockdale isn't one of them
If Brighton have offered him another contract he should sign it before they realise how ordinary he is.

"What have you done David Stockdale?

Jack Grealish drifts in from the left and hits a shot from 25 yards that the Seagulls keeper should stop with ease but it goes through him."

Ouch. We've been linked with him recently as well.

Stockdale had an absolute stinker. That massively takes the gloss off of a fine season.

I always think sending on another defender just invites the other team on and makes teams sink back.
Extra midfielder or someone who can carry the ball is a better defensive tactic. Or even another forward to occupy their defenders

"In some ways Blackburn may have made a major tactical error sending on more forwards. If Bristol City equalise they stay up as long as they protect their lead."

GOAL: Brentford 1-3 Blackburn

Of course as Allardyce is a club-killer the damage was probably already done.

Conversation in Blackburn boardroom after buying the premier league club:-
Chicken farmer 1 - "Exciting this, isn't it? We need to make some decisions now.
CF 2 "I know. Let's sack that fat man Mr Allardyce"
CF 1 " Agreed!"
